Wimbledon is at the heart of English tennis and an essential part of the English summer! A tour of this prestigious tennis club is a truly memorable experience for students attending our London based tennis camps.
On this afternoon excursion, we visit the clubs museum with its multi-dimensional displays and exhibitions, enjoy a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the grounds plus have a tasty lunch!
Here you will learn how Wimbledon's distinctive grass is cared for and see the facilities provided to the worlds best tennis players. Tour highlights include a visit to the world-famous Centre Court, No.1 Court and the Players Entrance.
Experience Wimbledon's rich history and tradition via the museum's collections and exhibitions. Get up close to the Championship trophies, plus clothing and equipment donated by tennis top stars. The 3D film, interactive displays and John McEnroe as a ghost will also inspire all tennis fans!
The tour takes place on Tuesday afternoons. Students who choose to attend will not miss any tennis coaching time. When we return, we play tennis that evening on the floodlit courts.
The Wimbledon tour is included in your Ace Tennis Camp Booking!
